[Strangely enough, there's no response from Richard-- unusual because he tends to be quick to reply to anything Asbel says, especially something directed at him.]

[Tear told someone he was very skilled in fontech! Ohhh, you beautiful girl. Guy loves you, Tear.]

Hahaha, well, I wouldn't say that I'm very skilled, and it's really only in a specific type of machinery, so I'm not sure if I'll be a lot of help.

[Oh he's just glowing. Look at him. A reputation as a skilled fontechnician. It's like a dream come true.]

[That does strike Asbel as unusual, since he knows Richard does usually reply quickly. So, after a few moments, he tries again.]

...Richard?

Mmm... Well, I'm not sure how similar this is to the machinery you're skilled with, but... Having an expert's opinion would be greatly appreciated, at least.

[Again, no real response, just a soft, vaguely annoyed sound.]

... [Now you have him worried, Richard. Especially since he heard that sound. Something must be wrong...

So he decides to head out the door, towards Richard's house. He has some time until the help arrives, anyway, so...]

[sldfkjsdf EXPERT! Asbel are you trying to sweet-talk Guy or is this all on accident?]

I'd be happy to help if I can! What can I do for you?

[Hope you don't mind letting yourself in, Asbel, because with Isamu locked in his room the way he is and Naoki off in the mountains, there isn't anyone there to answer it for him.]

I have... something that needs to be repaired, so I'd like you to come over and take a look. I'm sure you'll understand the problem once you see it. [It's definitely more than just 'something', but saying "Hey my friend is broken can you fix him" is awkward.]

I've asked another man to come as well, so you'll be working with him. I believe you might already know him, since Tear said he was a friend like you?

[He does show common courtesy and knock first, but after receiving no answer, he proceeds to try the door, opening it. Stepping inside, he calls out.]

Richard!

[Again, silence. Richard's bedroom door is closed, though, which it normally isn't if he isn't in there...]

[...Most peculiar. He wanders over to Richard's door.

...It's closed. Asbel gives it a knock.]

Richard? Are you in there?

[Wait, Tear? Wasn't that Van's sister? ...Hmph, maybe she was a little better than he thought. Maybe.]

Yes, that's correct, though my genius is specialized in the advancements of my world. Tell what it is you need assistance with, and I'll see what I can do. I have my own work to do, you see.

[Was that a quiet sound from inside? It might have been, but it's so soft it's hard to be sure.]

[Ah, good, he answered.

...Hmm, he's not sure how well he can explain the situation, but he definitely needs the man's help.]

I have a... machine from my world that needs to be repaired. It's designed to resemble a human in appearance. If you're not able to fix it, I figured at least having an expert examining it and forming an opinion would help.

Richard! Is something wrong? [Another knock, and then a jiggle of the handle. He knows you're in there, Richard. He's worried about you now. ):]

[COME ON IN, THE DOOR IS OPEN. Well, unlocked, at least. Just don't break the door down in your excitement, Asbel.]

[Richard you're really worrying him. You haven't acted like this since, well... when he first met you. After waiting for a response and receiving none, he decides to open the door. Slowly.]

Richard...?

[The room is dark, but Asbel will probably be able to make out a lump under the covers in the bed-- one that lets out another small annoyed sound at the light streaming in from the now-open door. Close the door, that's way too bright. :(]

[Closing the door behind him, Asbel walks over to the lump in bed, placing a hand on it.

...It's warm.]

Richard.

[Warmer than it should be, in fact, though it's also shivering a bit.]

Nnn...

[...Definitely strange...]

...Are you okay, Richard?

[At the sound of his voice, Richard's eyes open slightly.]

Asbel...?

[Oh, damn. He hadn't wanted Asbel to see him like this, especially not right before the draft.]

[If Asbel bothered to feel Richard's forehead, he could easily deduce what's wrong with him. But the thought doesn't cross his mind. He's more concerned about Richard's behavior.]

...Yeah, it's me.

[Richard shifts, trying to sit up a little more despite his dizziness. If Asbel is here, then... did something happen with Lambda?]
