[It was two weeks he was gone. Two weeks ago Asbel departed from Luceti to go on a mission. It wasn't anything too out of the ordinary. A simple mission off to the mountains to combat third party soldiers. If there was one thing Asbel knew how to do well, it was fight. Not that the mission went off without a hitch, but... Well, it was successful, at least.

Asbel walks through the plaza towards his house, his white coat draped over his shoulders instead of being worn, and his left arm is hanging in a makeshift sling. He probably should stop by the clinic to get that treated properly, but... Well, he's more concerned with getting home to everyone first. He wants to see Cheria and Richard again. If you spot him in the plaza, you're certainly free to inquire and perhaps try to get him to go to the clinic, but...

Regardless of what happens in the plaza, Asbel soon arrives at his house, calmly opening the door as he steps inside.]

Cheria, Richard, Isamu... ...I'm home. [He's looking pretty beat, and there's that whole arm issue, but... he's home.]

[Sometime later, after recouping a bit, Asbel pulls out his journal, wanting a few answers. Two weeks is a long time to be away in a village where things can change overnight.]

Did something happen in the village while I was gone? It looks like something went down at the Battle Dome.

Not yet. I was going to have Cheria look at it.

She must be a good healer, then. [Pao-Lin hopes she is, since Asbel looks pretty bad off right now.] But how bad is your arm? [Is it a sprain, or is it outright broken...?] That really needs to be seen by a doctor...

She's medically trained, [or at least something close to it] so I want to have her look at it, first.

...It's not as bad as it looks, really.

[She frowns at him, but nods.]

Well, okay, if you say so. But will you let me at least try healing some of your cuts and bruises? [She feels weird just letting him go off to home without some medical attention.] I've been practicing with Nala's magic, I'm sure I could do something.

[Pao-Lin steps in closer, deciding to try closing a cut on the side of Asbel's face. She holds her hand out to hover by the injury and closes her eyes as she tries to put theory into practice. She's still shaky on this, so it's slowgoing, and by the time she's done, the cut is still technically visible as a pale pink line on Asbel's skin. But functionally, it's healed.]

Ah...sorry. That's the best I can do for now, but it should be okay still.

[Pao-Lin nods, more in acknowledgment of Asbel's assurance than in actually agreeing with them.]

You'll be fine walking home by yourself, right? You're not going to pass out or anything like that?

I'll be fine. The pain isn't too bad, and it's not like I lost a lot of blood.

Well...if you say so. [Still looking a bit worried, but she understands.] Take care, okay? And tell Cheria I said hi.

[He gives her a nod.]

Yeah, I'll do that. Don't worry, I'll be in top condition again before you know it.
