[It was two weeks he was gone. Two weeks ago Asbel departed from Luceti to go on a mission. It wasn't anything too out of the ordinary. A simple mission off to the mountains to combat third party soldiers. If there was one thing Asbel knew how to do well, it was fight. Not that the mission went off without a hitch, but... Well, it was successful, at least.

Asbel walks through the plaza towards his house, his white coat draped over his shoulders instead of being worn, and his left arm is hanging in a makeshift sling. He probably should stop by the clinic to get that treated properly, but... Well, he's more concerned with getting home to everyone first. He wants to see Cheria and Richard again. If you spot him in the plaza, you're certainly free to inquire and perhaps try to get him to go to the clinic, but...

Regardless of what happens in the plaza, Asbel soon arrives at his house, calmly opening the door as he steps inside.]

Cheria, Richard, Isamu... ...I'm home. [He's looking pretty beat, and there's that whole arm issue, but... he's home.]

[Sometime later, after recouping a bit, Asbel pulls out his journal, wanting a few answers. Two weeks is a long time to be away in a village where things can change overnight.]

Did something happen in the village while I was gone? It looks like something went down at the Battle Dome.

[Naoki's just heading out of the grocery when he spots him (or rather, the back of his head). A blink--thinking to himself it's been a bit since he's seen him--then he's calling out:]

Hey, Asbel!

[When he hears someone call out his name, Asbel turns in the direction the voice came from. When he sees it's Naoki, he puts on a smile. He was glad to see his friend again, especially since he hadn't really had a chance to speak with him since their first (re)encounter.]

Naoki!

[When Asbel finally makes it home, he'll find Richard asleep in bed. But not the bed in the room he usually shares with Isamu-- he's in a different room now, next to the kitchen.

... well, Richard's probably SOMEWHERE in those blankets. Right now all that can really be seen is some messy blond hair sticking out of the top.]

[Naoki grins, walking toward him. Though once he lays eyes on the sling he stares, surprised.]

What happened?

[Asbel notices the door for that room's open. It's definitely odd, since they keep the doors for the unused rooms closed. Asbel knows Cheria wouldn't leave it open, even if she was cleaning. So he decides to go take a look and see what was going on there.

Of course, he's quick to notice that the bed is definitely in use right now.]

...Huh?

Ahh... [Well, it's pretty hard for him to hide it, but he's still pretty embarrassed. He never really suffered an injury like this at all in the Knight Academy.]

Just an accident on a mission, that's all.

[You're going to have to be louder than that if you want to wake him up, Asbel. He makes a slight noise and shifts around in that blanket cocoon, but he's still out like a light.]

[Asbel walks over to the bundle of blankets and places his good hand on the mass, giving it a slight nudge.]

Did you just get back?

[Another sleepy sound, a bit louder this time, and this time the blankets actually start to move ~~it's hatching, it's hatching!~~ until Richard's head pokes out, blinking blearily at the unexpected awakening.

Give him a moment here, he's still waking up.]

[Asbel stares at the face that's unearthed itself from its blankety tomb.]

...Richard? What're you doing in here?

... Asbel?

[Asbel's question goes unheeded once he realizes who it is, a smile of relief spreading across his face.]

You're back.

[And boy, does he sound happy to see you.]

Yeah... They just let me come back now.

Yeah... I am. Sorry I was gone so long. [But what's two weeks compared to seven years, huh?]

[He frowns.] Were they having you fight all this time?

[A nod. He's feeling pretty beat right now.]

That's all right; it's not your fault.

[He sits up a little more, blinking sleep from his eyes, and it's then that he notices Asbel's arm.]

... you're hurt. How did that happen?

[Asbel decides to take a seat on the edge of the bed.]

I got injured on my mission, that's all. [It's not a big deal, really.]

You must be worn out. [Said with no shortage of sympathy.]

Headed home?

Here, let me.

[And he reaches his hands out to hover them over Asbel's arm, letting Nala's healing power flow outward from them.]

[Asbel breathes a sigh of relief as the healing power washes over his arm. It definitely feels better, at least.]

...Thanks, Richard. But I should probably have Cheria look at it before I go having it healed. I did the best I could setting the bones on short notice, but she knows more than I do.

[Richard immediately stops his healing and lowers his hands back down to the blankets, turning his head slightly away.]

Of course. That is her job, after all. I'm sure she'll be able to do better work than I can.

Yeah... I am. [To both questions.]

Then, mind if I walk with you partway?

[He won't mention the clinic mainly because pff Naoki didn't like going there either. Ever. So yes.]

Richard... [Asbel notices Richard's shame, don't you worry.]

I'd be honored to be healed by you, but... Well, I want my arm to heal correctly, and you probably don't know much about mending bones properly, do you? [He doesn't expect you to, Richard. Heck, he only really knows what the knight academy taught him.]
