[First of all, there are the clothes. When they arrive, Ling has this set out for them. Since there are no altars at hand, he has food, fruit, and flowers set up around the fountain. Sticks of incense are already burning on the ground, on either side of where Ling intends to stand. He also has a goblet of wine ready. He wasn't really sure what to pick, so he just chose something that was pretty and blue.

This is of course where the tradition all ends. Lacking any clothes fitting of an emperor, he was forced to use a costume he found in the shop, looking something like this. He'll be waiting on one of the benches for the happy couple to arrive.]

[Asbel eventually shows up, with his bride-to-be at his side. To be honest, he wasn't expecting anything like this. Just a simple ceremony was all he expected.

...Not that he isn't impressed and amazed, of course. How differently other worlds and cultures did the same things as his planet was so amazing.]

[Cheria looks radiant and positively delighted at all of this. She'd imagined her wedding quite a few times, as girls tend to do. The groom would nearly always be Asbel, so in that regard her dream is certainly coming true. She'd also pictured a beautiful white wedding dress, which is why the outfits Ling has prepared catch her off-guard for a moment.

Still, she won't complain. In the end, the wedding isn't about what you wear or how you perform the ceremony- it's about who you marry.]

Ooohhh... Is all this for us?

Welcome! You two must be here to get married. Well, you two will need to hurry and get dressed. The sun won't last forever, you know.

Sometime later, Asbel returns, wearing the outfit Ling had handed him. It wasn't exactly to his tastes... He preferred whites, and the long robe wasn't his style. ...But it beat the costume he was in, for sure.]

[Cheria takes a bit longer to get ready. She'd been pleasantly surprised to find that she's now allowed to change out of her Princess gown and into the strange dress that Ling had prepared for her. After pinning her hair up, doing her make-up and generally fussing over her appearance, she'll finally rejoin Asbel and Ling. A modest blush is present on her cheeks.]

How... How do I look?

[Well he's just been waiting around forever for you guys so he sounds a little bored.]

I think you'll both do. A perfect couple, I'd say.

[Asbel gives Cheria a look over, taking in how she looks in that dress. It's not everyday he'll get to see her in a wedding dress, after all. If he's lucky, this'll be the only time.]

Thank you... [Her blush increases mildly, but she's not taking her eyes off Asbel.] You look very handsome as well.

Mmm, yeah, I do. [It wasn't the greatest ring around, but... it would do considering how last minute this was. He could always get a better one later.]
