[It was a day like any other in House 28. Or so it seemed, at least. Asbel went to knock on Cheria's door, hoping to ask her if she wants to come with him somewhere, and it didn't involve training. He's definitely felt better about his relationship with Cheria recently than he has in the past, knowing he shouldn't try so hard or worry so much, and just be natural with her.

No answer comes from beyond Cheria's door. It's a bit weird. He didn't see her anywhere else in the house, and if she's stepped out, she usually leaves a note.]

...Cheria? Are you in there?

[again, no answer. So strange. Maybe she's asleep? Normally, he doesn't enter her room without her permission, but against his better judgment, decides to open the door and come in.]

Cheria, are you--

[What he finds... Is an empty room.]

[Voice]

[His voice sounds hoarse when he goes to deliver the message. He's not sure why it hurt so much more for her to go home than it did when Sophie or Hubert left. Maybe it was because things had changed so much between the two of them? Knowing things weren't going nearly as smoothly for them back home...]

To anyone that might have known her, Cheria Barnes has left Luceti.

[Way to make her find you herself Asbel.] Oh, you're in here? I was lookin' for yo- Whoah! [Someone doesn't look too happy this morning. Uh, afternoon. She dives into one of the living room chairs and shoots Asbel a grin.]

So what's got you looking all moody today? [Are they out of curry? She totally makes a face like that when she realises the bananas are overripe.]

...Didn't you see my message, Pascal? [That statement carries a hint of resentment in it. The fuck is wrong with you, Pascal?]

Nooo, didja leave one for me? [Welp, since they're both here and everything.] What did it say, you can tell me now right? Unless it's a secret message...

Well yeah, but that's still a real downer, y'know? I'm really gonna miss having Cheria around... Guess that makes me the only gal in the house now, huh.

I guess you don't have to worry about her hounding you to take a bath now, at least. [He's trying to make light of the situation to avoid having to acknowledge his soul-sucking depression.]

I guess, I'll still try and stick to the two baths a week quota though. [Try being the important word here. Baths aside, brace yourself Asbel. It's time for a serious thought from Pascal.]

We're guessing a lot right now, huh? I mean, I say I guess I'm the only girl around now, but I really know that, so I'm not actually guessing. Do people really take a guess when they say they guess or what?
