21 [Accidental Voice/Action]

[The feed starts with the sound of a loud crash. The words of a disgruntled Richard follow next. It sounds like an argument is brewing over at the rec center.]
Was that truly necessary, Asbel?
[Asbel chimes in next, and he sounds… annoyed, to say the least.]
You had that coming after you pushed me off the cliff like that.
I was just using our surroundings to my advantage. There’s nothing unfair about that.
And I was just using what I had on hand to my advantage. There’s nothing unfair about that, either.
You didn’t need to throw something at me.
So what are you planning to do with that, then? [He sees what you’ve got there, Richard.]
Nothing that you need to know about just yet. [Enjoy your suspense, Asbel. He’s going to get you when you’re least expecting it.]
Don’t think I’m going to give you that cha--Huh?! [And then there’s the sound of an explosion, like a bomb going off, and then the journal falls to the ground and closes, ending the transmission.]

[Action]
[Anyone who happens to be in the Rec Center during or after this rather ominous conversation occurs will discover that it is in fact far less ominous than it sounded: the two of them are seated on the couch in front of the TV and playing a game of Mario Kart. A very intense game of Mario Kart that involves jumping up off the couch, fist-pumps in the air, and other similar activities. Looks like neither one of them is a good loser. Add in the fact that they both apparently have competitive streaks a mile wide where video games are concerned and it’s not hard to see how their conversation came across as something more akin to a fight.
A little intervention might be needed… or another player. They’d probably welcome either one.]
((ooc: Red is Asbel, green is Richard, of course. The tags explain it all. You can request Asbel, Richard, or both in your thread))
