[He almost didn't want to believe it at first. That she was gone. He noticed she was missing several days ago, but he didn't say anything at first. It was kept secret between he, Richard, and Isamu. Why? Who knows. Denial, maybe? Stubbornness? Or maybe he just wanted to believe that she'd be back...

It wasn't that he was upset over her departure, per se. He was glad his oldest companion was able to return to Ephinea. He was happy for all of them to get that chance. ...But it hurt every time. They were his friends, every one of them, and he had the chance to spend time with them is a way he'd never have back home. And this time... it hurt even more. He had a special bond with her, a relationship. Something he probably wouldn't have even conceived of back home. And now it's gone.

He knows he couldn't keep quiet about it. He's sure she's made friends here, just like he has. It'd only be right to say something.]

If any of you knew her... It looks like Cheria Barnes has gone home. She'll be missed.

[There's a sigh.] ...Does anybody knows what happens when people leave Luceti? I mean, they're actually going home, right? [And not to something far worse.]

[She certainly brightens up a bit at that.] Really? You'll do that for me?

Of course. You're probably pretty tired if you just now arrived, so... Don't push yourself. I'll take care of things.

[She pauses for a moment, then tries to peer over Asbel's shoulder.] Are Richard and Sir Isamu home?

I just spoke to Richard, so he should be around. I don't know about Isamu, though.

I'll just have to look for them both, then! ...Are you sure you'll be able to find all my things yourself?

Of course. I know what to look for, after all. [He's been in Luceti long enough to know his way around!]

I'll leave it to you, then. [But if Asbel returns with underwear, she will get a little offended.]

I'll go right now, then. You should get some rest. [Asbel walks over to the table to grab the journal he'd sat down.]

All right... Good luck, Asbel. [She'll just wander further into the house to see if she can find Richard.]

[By the time Asbel returns, Cheria will be sitting in the living room, flipping through her journal to catch up on what she's missed. She's cleaned herself up a bit and brushed her hair, too.]
